Hi divas! sorry i haven't posted in awhile :( ... i've been hella busy, in the process of moving, getting over a nasty summer flu and saying goodbye to friends! but somehow amidst all the crazy goin on lately i've still managed to get in my summer shopping. clearly i have my priorities in order!
turquoise everywhere!
i'm always obsessed with one fashion trend or another...so cue my current obsession: TURQUOISE!!!!! this is my favourite colour above all i think this is the most flattering colour of all! i mean.. no one looks bad in turquoise.. it's impossible to screw up, right? turquoise in particular is my fav, but seriously, any colour in this range works - teal and aqua are the hues of my dreams. so you can imagine my excitement that that its hot on trend this season (along with coral and mint!) can i say that this has been my favourite summer for shopping EVER!
in between packing, finding a new home and wrapping up my last days at work, i squeezed in two trips to Osaka and got my shop on. of course i hit up the usual suspects, H&M, Zara, and Bershka, for the mid summer sale (Zara had a 50% off sale!) but i also stopped by a few boutique stores for those one of a kind pieces. I wish we had street markets here in japan, as you can always find something great at a bargain! we are after all, on a budget.

how to WORK turquoise
the best thing about turquoise, aside from the fact that is flattering on EVERYONE is that it's a colour that plays nicely with others. sure.. you could wear turquoise from head to toe but why.. so boring! mix it up and pair it with other bold colours for your own personal style.
